Eliminate their current sound people and get some people who know what they're doing! It was heartbreaking last year in Los Angeles when Ville's microphone kept failing on him and to see Ville go into a raqe, smashing his microphine to the floor, having to stop the show, literally yell directly at the sound man in front of everyone and then having to wait until Mige could get his bass to the right sound level under Ville's direction. Ville's dad was there that night along with Warner Brothers Records executives, and it was a very difficult and embarrassing thing to watch, especially on an important night like that. Ville's voice is almost always difficult to hear and more often than not he has to continually signal to the sound people throughout shows to adjust his sound monitors for him. He wants to be as professional as possible, I'm sure, but he's at the mercy of those who work for him in large part, and I would think he can afford an efficient and professional sound crew.

I agree. I saw that. I was also in that TERRIBLE New York show where he was so drunk he fell down. It was disgusting seeing Ville like that. Oh well.

As usual your attitude stinks. That wasn't HIM's FIRST show in NY. That was the 3rd I believe but it wasn't his first that's for sure. There's no excuse to be drunk and out of your mind like that. Plenty of people have first shows in NY and they are great. Hell, when HIM performed for the first time in NY they were GREAT!

Manna performed for the FIRST TIME in her whole entire life saturday with Linde in Semifinal this weekend. She wasn't drunk. So that's a stupid excuse as to why a person needs to get drunk.

I actually like the keyboard, but its get a bit to gay on dark light and some of the live versions of the keyboard is very annoying with all the whistle sounds. I especially remember the 2003 version of poison girl in the mid part where it usually is just the keyboard playing, but then they had a little "jam" thing...sounded like :lipssealed: on the keyboard.
My huge sweetheart gas lipstick!

not that i've seen HIM live in person but on DVD's i'd wish Ville would move around a bit more like he did in the Razorblade Romance days instead of just standing there...it was more entertaining on the dvd at least to watch him prance about like a camp fairy

Jess xx

I think the same thing
I liked the heartache every moment video
he was really moving around on that one it just makes the performance better and more exciting

I agree with what was said about Ville moving a round the stage abit more.
Also if he's going to say something at least say it so we can understand, instead of him mumbling random crap.

I think it looks stupid when 30 years old guy shakes his ass on the stage
like the one from 69 eyes (how old is he, never mind)

hey he can shake his ass for me anyday....think he's like 38....but i still would!!! hottest old bloke ever!

when i saw them in brixton, the drunk ville was too awful to see live, lose the alcohol
the music...well, listening to the dark light album, soudns like they're giving in to the pop sound, lose the commercial sound definitely
image..well, a lot of the pictures of ville is with a fag in his hand standing there, bit more variety would be nice

^-^

to be fair to Ville, he isn't a model, he's a musician, the whole point of a model is to become an illusion and show studios how versatile you can be with your look, Ville, not being one, is protrayed as he is, an alcoholic, chain smoker, black humoured, slightly dirty 30 year old man.
