mostly what you all have already said, mainly Nina and Moa:

-improved my english
-met a lot of people, made friends
- travelling abroad, specially to Finland which the only things i knew about were Nokia and Santa
-got into so many great bands
-fell in love with webdesign and all the related stuff

it has been a big change in my life since i got into the band ^_^

All these, except the last one :D
From my heart to your ears
Transforming words to tears
As vibrations of a string becomes a sound
I realise we're frail
Burned out and pale
Do you think we'll ever learn to love again?

I think they gave me very valuable lessons in:

- why not to smoke
- why not to drink
- why not to do drugs
- why not to grow moustache or any kind of facial hair
- why being .. "le goth" is boring
- how there is other life out there when you grow up and see that there's more in this world than HIM or being obsessed with Ville Valo's lungs or sexual orientation
- how much good music there actually is when you finally manage to cross the border of Love Metal

Excellent reply :victory: And it´s true as well, I think I took it upside down, I still miss the first two items to be completed :p

The first thing I learnt thanks to their music is to play guitar ;)
Then, that it's the music and not the lyrics which makes me like a song
"'Twas grief enough to think mankind
All hollow, servile, insincere,
But worse, to trust to my own mind,
And find the same corruption there"

that it doesn't matter that you may fall in and out of love with a band or one day you may not like their music but that tattoo on your back is a reminder of all the good times you have had - not of the band

that some where in the world there really is someone who looks exactly like you... I know I am a girl and Ville is not, and if I had a pic of myself I would show you all how amazingily creepily him and I look a like! :swoon: :sorry:

Other than that I haven't learned anything, but to be completely honest I'm not a very quick learner! :p
