Anyway, WOW that's some thread that goes in all senses! How do you guys actualy keep trac of what's going on in there?....
So! Regarding the start of it all... did HIM sold out.... (not even sure what that means... I guess it's something like making music purely for money?...) excuse me I'm only French
Anyway...assuming that this is it... I don't think that at all... I don't know if the person who posted this is still poping on here every now and then or not, but, since I like to speak to myself a lot
, I'd say that , firstly Ville Valo is not the only HIM member (what is that fashion of systematicaly accusing the frontman???) , SO, it's not to Ville that the blame should go (if blame there were to be) but to the entire band...
A band is made of different members who are fusioning together in order to make - if possible - good music. And in order to do that, everyone brings a little of his self or maybe it is his own?
... , and since everyone changes with the years, it is just totaly normal that the music evolves as well. It's nothing to do with selling out, and personaly, I'd say, thank god it changes! I'd be worried if it didn't because that would utlimatly mean that the people behind it don't grow, and that would suck now...
So that was for the selling out matter...
Now, regarding the attitude behind the words, Hummmm girl (if you're one)... I'm sad for you
You badly need to make an emotional break between you and the band (especialy you and Ville Valo) because he is not god you know...
He is just a man and he goes on the toilettes everyday like you (I hope
) and he is in no way responsable for your happiness, nor is he responsable for any one's happiness but his own.
So I will tell you this a bit harshly and by advance, excuse me, but get a life!
If HIM helped you in any hard moments of your life, that's great!! It probably helped a lot of people (me included... by the way thank you HIM
) but what ultimatly helped you out, is the action that the music , the words, had on you and not His Infernal Majesty himself... you can imagine that he's got "other cats to whip" (French expression... nice hun?...
)
So stop attaching yourself to people ( or fantasms) who can't do anything to save you. You are the only one who can do that, and if , in the future you're desapointed by a band, stop listening to it and that will do it well enough. Move on and maybe that's also a sign that you must grow as well and get curious about something or someone else... no?....

PS: Yeah last but not least.... When you give your heart to someone, no matter who that is, don't expect anything in return, that's not fair, that's not unconditional, and therefor it is fake. Don't say LOVE when it isn't.... Jesus Love is sooo under rated nowadays...
