?

The single is being released to support the uneasy collection. The version of eg. IJAS is the string version.
I frankly don't see what everyone is crying about, everyone can quite simply choose not to buy it
Ville said one of the reasons this "special" compilation is coming is out is that fans have asked for it. Lots of people don't own the singles and don't want to spend the time and money to get them.

The money-saving argument was quite effective when releasing the *surprise* single-collection a few years back. I got the idea at that time, but it sounds pretty lame to me today. :sorry:

A lot of people also asked for reducing the merch-prices, also in Finland, and nothing has happended yet. Might be a very good idea by the way, since the initial idea of Helldone was to make the ordinary NYE-gig a little more worthwhile and cheaper for those fans coming from abroad. Why not reducing the merch then? I'd buy loads of stuff in this case! =D

Still, true, no need to complain, since nobody forces me to buy the "singles".

I would say this is something only collectors would care about. to fill in their "list". I cant even imagine what would happen if there were any let's say independent japanese releases or something.

Yes, I agree. And vinyls are a wonderful thing. Just why come up with it so many years later. Of course nobody forces anyone to buy anything, but still you can wonder about it and/or come to the conclusion like Lintti did. Also nobody is forced to vote for this or that politician, and still people complain about them. (Just in case anyone reminds the critics here of how we not need to buy that :)). And speaking of collectors, maybe I'd buy a vinyl if some very old/rare HIM track is released that way. I personally don't think IJAS and Pretending are some of HIMs best tracks.

Since BMG does her own thing, i still wonder why they dont re-release the EP. That would be a total hit

Yeah, I guess they'd make a lot of cash with that. And a lot of fans very happy. And avoid people getting rich with their illegal copies sold on Ebay.
