What I'm trying to say is HIM needs to branch out in order to be successful in America which I think most Bands want to be not only in their native land [ Europe ] America is a challenge , to break into a pot of gold .. Would it be better to play in a big city like New York or Los Angeles and sell out a few nights in a row or get stuck playing in a small smoke filled bar ? I say the other I know you all had HIM first but remember this Europe did not make HIM famous here , it was Bam Margera . He started wearing all this Heartagram stuff .. If you would have asked me about HIM back in 2000 or 2001 I would have said no , never heard of them . You know what I don't even care if they didn't come here as often , I would appreciate the fact that I at least had the chance to see them at all . So think what you want about America or be selfish and keep HIM all to yourselves ...

I live in New Jersey but have no idea where Depford is, maybe my mother will take me although i'll look out of place as all HIM fans in my area are fat, emo and anime obsessed...
so it's true, the trick is complete, become everything you said you never would be.

Well, selfish might be if fans would not want to see them tour anywhere but in front of their own house (Heidiagain probably would like to see them play only in her kitchen). Nobody minds if fans elsewhere than this Europe get their share, too. And yes, HIM wanna conquer the US american market, which is surely not the easiest one, ask Robbie Williams (or is he doing better over there meanwhile?). Plus their record deal lives in the US, hence probably a housemade problem/pleasure. But this conquest lasts for about five years now, at least if you compare the amount of tour dates to the ones of the rest of the world (I know Bam was there before 2005). As much as you dislike these comments, the people who made them dislike the strong US focus. I can understand both sides.

It isnt just the tours, the whole heartagram website is aimed at the US, just look at the differance in merch on there and also the whole mess of europeans ordering the limited edition album with print. Yes it does piss the Europeans off, but not through being selfish, we have supported the band and helped make them the success they are, it wasnt all just Bam. Some of us have been following them for over 10 years and to suddenly start getting left out of all the good stuff feels unfair. I personally think they should give all the main fan bases chance to buy the same merch, albums and see them live.

Okay I get your point but that fact remains it's not our doing , I mean America did not ask HIM to be unfair to their European fans . Yes we love them too but no one put a gun to HIM and told them to focus on American HIM fans , so the blame should go to the persons involved . As for Bam , what I was trying to say is a lot of American HIM fans became just that because of Bam , he had Heartagram this and that .. I'm not the enemy here :dntknw: I'm sorry if you guys feel abandon ..

I didn't get it like anybody blamed the american fans, at least not here... About the gun, record companies can be a pain in the ass. At least according to Ville BMG was, so most likely Warner cares for the big focus on the US.

Allrighty then there you have it , blame Warner then . All I was trying to say was it's not America in general who is to blame . And why did HIM switch over to Warner in the first place ?? I understand that record companies are in for the money that is no surprise it's been going on for years , bands have trouble with them all the time ..

If I got it right your point is nothing whatsoever amercian is to blame, neither the fans (nobody claimed that), nor the record company but HIM for why in the first place did they actually sign with Warner if they didn't want all of that. We can stop the discussion here I think, everybodys point was made.

Still people wont stop being disappointed if there is again some extra for US fans in the long list of US dates, even if everybody would think the band is to blame.
