Still two days to go till the first gig of the Screamworks tour in 2010, and I'm not even sure if somebody from here is in Berlin this friday, but everyone who's going to a gig should be so nice to all other HIMclubbers and share this with us afterwards, please! :)

Unfortunately there aren't a lot of videos from fridays gig in Berlin online, and if, the quality isn't very good. These are some of the better ones:

Some comments about the gig can be read here, in german though:

I think on the myspace profile from the secret show someone also posted from her mobile phone a couple of times. Weird thing, now people not just take pictures to the max but also are occupied tweeting during the gig.

just came back from the Valentine's show :teehee:
it was VERY good, the band seemed to be in a very good mood and the venue is pretty small, so even if you're at the back you can see the band quite well
somebody already posted the setlist, so i won't do it again, but i was very surprised that they played When love and death embrace!
it felt very short, they played for 1 hour and the setlist could've been better for my taste, i would've preferred if they had played Shatter me with hope or In venere veritas instead of Disarm me (with your loneliness) and i would've had also prefered It's all tears to When love and death embreace, and also Bleed well instead of Kiss of dawn
Again they didn't play anything from DS&BH...
but the new songs sound great live
and i guess i was more concentrated in taking pictures and videos than being into the songs, but all in all it was a very good show and i am very happy right now  =D :D

i will post the pictures and videos tomorrow and hopefully they won't be too bad

Hey guys the Valentines gig last night was really good, albeit a little short. They were on for about an hour and twenty minutes, but apparently according to a conversation I overhead at the bar, the bar girl said they due to perform from nine to half ten. I think there were alot of technical problems as the roadie came on about 4 or 5 times to check Lindes guitar. The band eventually got on stage at quarter to nine and despite the length of the show, the band were really on form. Ville looked espeically happy and was reguarlarly responding to the crowd. I thought it was nice of him that he stopped right here in my arms to make sure a girl was ok in the crowd. Im pleased I finally got to hear when love and death embrace and the new songs sound amazing live, especially like.st valentine and Katherine Wheel.

Does anyone know what song they came out too, it sounded like a really nice sweet song?

Btw ive uploaded some pics on my facebook, and im trying to upload two videos (when love and death embrace and poison girl)

Just search for James Nathan Chapman, my profile pic is the lead singer of kasabian

Hey guys :) back from the gig last night.. i had a bit of a disaster on the whole..seemed like we waited forrrrever for the band to come out.. no support band but got in there at 7 and then they didnt show till 9.. dont know if there was a technical problem or something but everyone was frustrated before they even came out. started with st valentine which was great and energetic and i was pretty much in the front row.. then half way through right here in my arms my girlfriend passed out and was fitting..ville stopped the song which was so nice of him and asked if she was alright when she was taken out she blew him a kiss and he laughed bless him :) turns out she may be epileptic and the strong strobe lights in such a small venue caused her to fit.. the venue staff were so nice and gave her some sugar and blanket but after a while made us go right to the back .. never the less we enjoyed it from there dancing and singing they seemed to be on great form and enjoying themselves...
Peace and love to you all <3

when love and death embrace was a huge surprise and i loved it, its one of my all time favourites they were a bit rusty on it and a few others but great communication helped them through and it turned out awesome also linde kept throwing in new longer more complex guitar solos into the songs which was nice the set was generally great but short it seemed. after the gig went to the exit to hopefully speak to the band and say thank you for stopping the song turns out 40 other people had the same idea again waited for ages about an hour and the band came out didnt acknowledge anyone and just went about half an hour ville came out and did the same thing didnt even look up. i thought this was real rude but talked to seppo about passing on our thanks all in all a cold disaster lol

have some good pics and afew good videos will put them up asap if better ones are not online already :p

Dear Lord, let them play "in venere veritas" in Hamburg.... thanks a lot!

Cjay, good to hear your girlfriend got back on her feet and could enjoy the rest of the show. Good reaction from Ville during the gig, and for afterwards... I guess psycho people ruined the chance to talk to the band after a show, or they've been in a hurry (well, doesn't sound really convincing, does it?), or it was too freaking cold.... I guess during the last ten years so many things happened which outweigh the nice parts, so they don't really want that anymore (stolen beanies, people ringing at non-christian times at your door and who knows what else) :dntknw:

Anyway, thanks for sharing, Helena and Cjay, don't forget to post your pictures and videos!

those lights were pretty crazy, i'm glad your girlfriend is okay!!

a few more details
when we were in the queue, linde and mige were in the minibar having a drink with some girl and we could see them through the window, haha
later, when we were inside they walked among the crowd to go backstage, i'd never seen them so close!

after the show i also waited to see if they came out... i didn't wait that long though, but i was peeking through the window into the minibar because all the guys (except Ville) from the band were there, and then this stupid guy showed off his autographs to me through the window!!! :verymad:
then i thought i saw Tony Iommi sitting with Linde and other people but i thought i was hallucitaning, but apparently it really was him!!!! :o

anyway, here are my less crappy pictures:

Thank you so much for posting! I get a kick out of all the phones being held up to film the show - back in my day it was lighters since no cameras were allowed.

Making of the secret show in Berlin:

I don't wanna offend anyones life- or fashion stile, but I have to say the amount of plain boring black in the audience kinda disappoints me.
