Hi - I hope this is the correct place for this question - How "rowdy" are HIM shows? I am planning to purchase tickets for an upcoming show and am trying to figure out if I should get the general admission ticket for the floor or if I should get the expensive balcony seats. I was at Ozzfest a few years ago and found it got too out of control for my taste (I am getting to be something of a germaphobe in my old age)and am concerned it might get crazy like that on the floor. Thanks for any advice!

that depends on the audience. I thought I was gonna die; or kill someone; when I was at a gig in London, while in Finland it was rather calm. Same in Luxembourg actually. :dntknw:

I agree and i am getting old too for being in general admission on the floor :turned: When i was at The Killers concert i though i could die there, and we are agree The Killers is not for "rude" people  , my advise is you should go to the balcony seats :pardon:
I'm not crazy, i'm in love.

Can't remember a HIM gig were you had some room around you, most of the time it was super narrow and if someone moved only an inch forward, like two or three girls from behind tried to fill this tiny gap by squeezing their asses between me and the one in front of me.

On a side note, I've been at a sold out Depeche Mode gig a couple of months ago, front of stage area, and you didn't need to fear for your life or leave the location with bruises.

well, scariest thing i had not at HIM concert... some years ago, there was a Metallica show in Tallinn... there were about 78 000 people....when the show ended, people started to move to exit....THAT was scary...

Yikes...I am beginning to think I will be stuck with floor "seats" as I can't reach anyone at the HOB to purchase tickets...I may have to purchase through Live Nation (and the tickets are 10.50 more!!). I'm a small person that doesn't like getting pushed around too much, but I suppose I can hope that people will be reasonable. Thanks for all the advice!

Erin, do you know you can get tickets before they officially go on sale? I've posted a link about it in the "tour" thread. Other than that, maybe it's really better to get a balcony seat if you wanna enjoy the gig and don't spend all of the time trying to see something or protect yourself against other peoples elbows or in case of mosh pits: whole bodys. Or stand quite outside of the centre.... in any case: probably it's best to be there early to have a good spot :dntknw:

Hi Evelyn - I did know I could get some prior, but all I found were general admission for much higher prices than through the HOB box office...which, when I called at 11:01 this morning I was able to get tickets for the Press Pit, up against the stage! Way better than general admission and definitely better than the balcony. We are going to see Alice In Chains there in a couple weeks so I will get to check it all out. I am so excited~!
