Did anyone ever use a band member from HIM in school? In an essay or in any other useful thing? I used Ville in an essay...

The story was about Ville Valo (I kinda changed his name into my language) that was stealing his mothers eyeliner and lied about it and stuff....and everybody tought he was gay...

Im suprised I got an B+ :D

I did an essay about "HIM and Finnish music at the change of millennium" (or something like that) for music class in high school. It was really crappy :D

Hmm... yeah! I wrote a concert review for my music class and got A+ for it. Can't remember anything else because I used my report about Metallica for years :D oh joy that teachers change and I can save time thanks to that :D

I once wrote an essay about madness I think. And well I yeah.. I wrote about my obsession with HIM (around 5 years ago ;) )
I got an A for it, my teacher appreciated my honesty *lol*

No way. I don't think I ever had a school assignment in which I could've gone off topic enough to bring up a band.

I did however make a study of Tori Amos' theory and vision of Venus...

It was my final essay for a class and was worth 40% of the semester. It is one of the only work I turned in because I didn't understand that class... and my final grade was 90%. That Tori Amos essay must've scored 275%. :p
By the looks of things it might just rain all night.
Once was Jenn. Yup.

Yeah I use them in projects in school all the time, epically in Art. But right now im writing a five page term paper on how they are not satanic, the heartagram is not a satanic symbol, and they dont imply suicide in their songs.

I have vague memories of you and that ... I wonder why?

And I made some short films about HIMfans as a project, my last year of school. It was fun.

Essential Salts of animals may
Be so prepared and preserved
That an ingenious man
May have the whole Ark of Noah in his own
Study and raise the fine shape of an animal
Out of its ashes at his pleasure

Unhappy is he to whom the memories of childhood
Bring only fear and sadness
Old years of play
Wretched is he who looks back upon lone hours
In vast and dismal chambers
With brown hangings
And maddening rows of antique books

Watch them in twilight groves
Oh in twilight groves
Oh in twilight groves

By method from the essential salts of humane dust
A philosopher may call up the shape of any dead ancestor
From the dust where into his body has been
Incinerated incinerated incinerated

You're under pressure baby
Christ has returned he's returning
In every new born child
In every new born child

You're under pressure baby
Christ has returned he's returning
In every new born child
In every new born child
In every new born child

Essential Salts of animals may
Be so prepared and preserved
That an ingenious man
May have the whole Ark of Noah in his own
Study and raise the fine shape of an animal
Out of its ashes at his pleasure

You're under pressure baby
Christ has returned, he's returning
In every new born child
In every new born child

You're under pressure baby
Christ has returned, he's returning
In every new born child
In every new born child

this is one of HIM's songs :spiteful:

-Pretty much every art project I had in the 7th grade had a heartagram on it or something.
- In 7th grade history we needed to make like a coat of arms, a shield. So I made "The Heartagram Shield"
-Freshman year we had to do a watercolor painting of a picture of our choosing. I chose The Kiss of Dawn single cover.
-In English this year, we had to write essays of our choosing every other week. And the first week we had to do this, I picked something about music and I talked a bit about HIM. Such as my favorite song and stuff like that.
- Not sure if this counts, but I joined the HIM street team freshman year, and I got like 100 stickers that promoted Venus Doom. My homeroom class was covered =)
10.18.07 - First HIM gig
"I'm not afraid to admit I adore you"
