There was no 2005 or 2006 Projekt Revolution, but in a December 2006 interview with fansite LP Association, Dave Farrell of Linkin Park said "At this point I think we're still finalizing ideas as far as to what, and where and how we're going to be starting our touring, but there will definitely be a Projekt Revolution."[1]

On April 6, 2007, Joe Hahn of Linkin Park confirmed that My Chemical Romance, Placebo, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Saosin, and Mindless Self Indulgence will be on the tour, and remarked there there will be "twice as many bands" total [2]. On May 2, Chester Bennington again confirmed on an interview with Zane Lowe the previously announced six bands and added that Julien-K and Styles of Beyond might be on the tour as well. Bands still rumored to be on the tour are Mastodon, Billy Talent, and The Bled. Madina lake is officialy on the bill according to their website and myspace page. The tour's tentative start date is July 27th and is scheduled to run through September. The tour dates and bands will be announced May 7.
