My lovely holidays in Rome are over. It was a great fun and definitely a nice way to spend two weeks with my family after leaving them for who knows how long time.

Today is my third day here in Jyväskylä. This far things have been really good. Seriously, things were never that good while I was studying in Tartu. I have already met lots of people...

Oeh, so here I am. Today morning I started to drive to Finland, accompanied by my dad, and around 1.30pm we arrived at my dad's tiny apartment. Right now it's 10.55pm, I'm "stealing" my dad's neighbor's WiFi connection and waiting for my dad to come back home.

First day in Helsinki is spent nicely, tomorrow is ahead...

Vacation time

The camp is over for this year. 6 weeks of work is over. 6 weeks of spending time in the cemetery. It's Saturday and yesterday was my last day at work. 32 kids at the age 13-17 have got their experience.

So for the last 6 weeks I've lived on the following time-table:
7.30 - wake up, breakfast, shower

The morning of Midsummer's eve

23rd June is the day of the year when almost all Estonians celebrate Midsummer's eve (also called St John's day). People go outside, light fires, have fun, barbecue, spend time with friends and family and of course get drunk :lol:

I'm glad I had a day off today. I really like my job but spending time at home doing nothing is way better than anything else. So hopefully tomorrow will rain again so that I could have another day off :lol:
